Follow these simple steps to download games from the Wii Shop Channel
STEP 1: Access Wii Shop Channel
Find the Wii Shop Channel on your Wii Menu, and access it.
STEP 2: Purchase Wii Points
Wii Points can be redeemed via the Wii Shop Channel with a Nintendo Points Card, available at game retailers. They can also be obtained with a credit card right from the Wii Shop Channel. Click on the "Add Wii Points" button on the Wii Shop Channel menu to redeem your points.
STEP 3: Browse Games
Use the Wii Shop Channel to browse for WiiWare and Virtual Console games. Browse by Popular Titles, Newest Additions, Game Publisher, Genre, or Game Title.
STEP 4: Download Games
Once you have redeemed your Wii Points, choose a game you want to download. Click "Download" from the game's page and your game will begin downloading automatically. You can then find your game on the Wii menu screen. Select and enjoy!
